Since 1998 Chris Graeme has focused on covering political, social and cultural events in Portugal focusing on Lisbon and Porto.

He started working for the respected English language newspaper the Anglo-Portuguese News until its demise in 2004 and from 2005 to date has regularly contributed with Lisbon coverage for the English-language weekly newspaper The Algarve Resident. He also contributed to the weekly English language newspaper The Portugal News and supplied initial start-up content for the online information service AngloInfo Portugal.

Until 2012 he was a contributor and photographer for Open Media’s luxury and lifestyle Essential Magazines in Lisbon and Madeira.

From 2005 to 2012 he contributed to the monthly English language property magazine People and Business until its demise during the Portuguese property crisis of 2008-2012. He was its last editor. He then went on to edit and contribute towards a quarterly property and retail magazine Partners and Business.

From 2013 to 2015 he provided public relations, marketing and media support and web-based content for global citizenship experts Henley and Partners Portugal and launched its citizenship blog The Golden Resident.

He also was the English editor of the American Club of Lisbon’s People with Attitude magazine and its Membership Directories.

In 2016 he took a year out to write his novel “Cassandra’s Cavern”.
