Events Photography

As a photojournalist and social photographer Chris Graeme has photographed Portugal’s political, business, social and cultural elites for 20 years.

He photographed major political, diplomatic and cultural events in Portugal including Expo 98, Portugal’s Presidency of the European Union in 2000 and 2007 and the landmark signing of the Treaty of Lisbon in 2007. He also worked as a café society photographer for the luxury and lifestyle Essential Portugal and Lisbon magazine. He has photographed all Portugal’s presidents, prime ministers and government ministers since 1998 and many leading statesmen around the world including US Presidents Bill Clinton and Barrack Obama, UK Prime Ministers Tony Blair and David Cameron, German Chancellor Angela Merkel and Russian President Vladimir Putin.

For the past five years, he has been one of the in-house photographers for Lisbon’s prestigious International Club of Portugal, the American Club of Lisbon and the American Chamber of Commerce in Portugal. He has also worked for the British Embassy in Lisbon, the British Council, the British-Portuguese Chamber of Commerce, the Royal British Club and the French-Portuguese Chamber of Commerce and Industry.

He has also carried out commercial work for companies and associations such as United Airlines, Cushman & Wakefield, the Goethe Institute, CB Richard Ellis Portugal, Buss Comunicação, CIDOT Comunicação, British-Portuguese Chamber of Commerce, Urban Rehabilitation Week, Vida Imobiliária, País Económico, Oje, Lisbon Marriott Hotel, Portuguese Real Estate Oscars, American Club Awards, Start-Up Magazine, Troféus Luso-Franceses, Web Summit Lisbon 2016.
